Q-5-50 — Invalid drafts Pattern

A drafts entry is not a path, points outside the project, or is not a valid glob. It marks nothing as a draft.

What this means

drafts (or website.drafts) lists pages to treat as drafts, as if each said draft: true. Every entry is a path or glob pattern, resolved relative to the file it is written in (a leading / anchors it at the project root). This warning means one entry could not be used:

# _quarto.yml
website:
  drafts:
    - posts/wip.qmd # fine
    - "posts/*.qmd" # fine: a glob
    - ../elsewhere.qmd # Q-5-50: climbs above the project root
    - "posts/[.qmd" # Q-5-50: not a valid glob
    - {path: x.qmd} # Q-5-50: not a path

The entry is ignored. The other entries still apply.

How to fix it

Write each entry as a path or glob pattern that stays inside the project directory.
