Q-2-28 — Line Break Before Escaped Shortcode Close
A
{{{< … >}}}escaped shortcode contains a line break immediately before its closing>}}}.
What this means
The escaped shortcode form {{{< … >}}} (one extra brace on
each side) prints the shortcode source literally instead of
evaluating it — useful in documentation about shortcodes. Like
the evaluated form, it is a single-line construct. This error
fires when a newline sits between the body and the closer.
Why this happens
A line wrap introduced for readability, or a paste that included an unintended newline.
How to fix
Collapse the escaped shortcode onto a single line:
{{{< hello world >}}}
Example
{{{< hello
>}}}
