A page prev:/next: link points at a document that is not
in the project’s render index.
What this means
A Quarto website page can declare explicit previous/next links
in its front matter:
prev:intro.qmdnext:chapter-2.qmd
These render as page-navigation buttons (typically at the
bottom of the page). At render time, each name is looked up in
the project index. This error fires when the target is not
there. The button still renders, but its link is broken.
Why this happens
Same family of causes as Q-13-1 (sidebar missing document):
typo, renamed or deleted document, excluded file, wrong
relative-path base.
How to fix
Update the prev: or next: value to point at a file in the
render set, or remove the entry if no such file is appropriate.
