What this means

The file is larger than 25 MB. Importing runs the converter in your browser, and a very large file can exhaust the browser’s memory, so larger files are refused up front.

Why this happens

  • The document embeds many or large images, audio or video.

How to fix

Import a smaller copy: compress the images (in Word, Picture Format → Compress Pictures), remove embedded media you don’t need, or split the document into parts.
