Q-24-6 — Paragraph-Mark Changes Dropped

Tracked insertions or deletions of paragraph breaks were not imported.

What this means

Word can track the insertion or deletion of a paragraph break itself. The importer has no editorial mark for a paragraph break, so these were dropped; the text on either side is imported as written.

Why this happens

  • The document has tracked changes that added or removed paragraph breaks.

How to fix

Nothing needs fixing. Compare against the original document if the paragraph structure matters.
