Q-5-4 — Example Embed Missing file=

An .embed-example-iframe placeholder has no file= attribute, so there is no asset to embed.

What this means

A fenced div with the class .embed-example-iframe asks Quarto to embed a rendered example in an <iframe>. The div must name the asset to embed with a file= attribute. This warning fires when the attribute is absent, so Quarto has nothing to point the frame at. The placeholder degrades to just its fallback link, and the page still builds.

How to fix

Add a file= attribute naming a project-relative static asset:

::: {.embed-example-iframe file="examples/presentations/03-fragments/slides.html"}
[View source](https://github.com/quarto-dev/q2/tree/main/examples/presentations/03-fragments)
:::

The file= value is resolved like any other project link, so it can be project-root-relative (a leading /) or relative to the page.
